In loving memory of my sister Karen, you will always be in my heart forever and ever!

For the past several days I've found myself reflecting on the times when we were just kids and the precious moments we shared. I've been going through pictures that I haven't looked at in years. Some of these thoughts and pictures have brought little chuckles, many have brought tears.

I will really miss you!  In fact, I miss you already, but I take comfort in the fact that you're no longer suffering,  I'm glad we got to spend time together, when you were still aware that I was there. I will forever cherish the last 30 minutes we spent together, when I was able to hold and comfort you, as well as the tenderness we shared.

Being the oldest, I was supposed to set the example, but the reality is, it was you that set the example and the bar. Watching you're acheivements in the military was the inspiration that gave me the courage to go to college and make something out of my life. You were quick to point out that I was headed down the wrong path and to express you're dissatisfaction, with some of my choices and behaviors.

You were always such a kind, caring and giving person, even when it meant you had to do without to help someone else in need. You have provided guidance and been such a pillar of strength for so many people during your lifetime. The world has suffered a tragic loss!
