Karen was my "big sister", even though she was my only sister. Karen has always been a loving and caring sister, always. There have been times when we didn't agree, but still, Karen's only worry was that I was OK, that I would be OK. I don't know where she got her strength from, but it was at times unbelievable. She worked tirelessly to make sure that everybody else was happy. That is what was most important to Karen. She would stay up until late at night, and then get up early in the morning to plan and prepare for a holiday dinner. Then she would spend the entire day working hard to make sure everybody was having a good time, had enough to eat, had enough to drink. Then, when the dinner was over, she would insist on cleaning up, and you had to fight her to let you help. I did "win" a couple of those, but not many. That's just how Karen was. The most caring, generous, loving person you will ever know. I miss you Karen. I really wish I could have helped you more. I Love You With All My Heart.
