    George T. Stradling, Jr., started Stradling Funeral Home in Akron, PA, in 1953 to provide funeral services to the community. 


    Stradling Funeral Homes of Akron and Ephrata are now owned and directed by his son, G. Tomlinson Stradling, III (Tom), with assistance from three licensed funeral directors, Tom's son, Matthew S. Stradling (Matt), Daryl E. Steele and Stephen Montpetit.
