I love you, grandma. I have so many wonderful memories of going to your house on saturdays. You always had something extra special planned for us, crafts, bingo, barbies on the big blanket, sleepovers, chicken nuggets with cheese, there are too many to name! I will also always cherish the memories of volunteering when you worked at the nursing home. during this time you taught me how to wrap the perfect Christmas present and give the residents manicures. I could always tell how much you cared for the residents you worked with. You had a huge heart for people. I will miss you!

Thank You Betty (and Terry) for teaching us about Jesus way back in the 70's in the youth group. We started in the church on Washington Ave and got kicked out for singing too loud and LuAnne banging the tambourine too loud, haha then you opened your home to us. You picked us up and took us home. In between we learned the love of Jesus and the simplicity of the gospel, to humble ourselves before God, confess our sin and accept the gift of His forgiveness and mercy, to know Him and for Him to know us, we are saved not by any good works or effort on our part but by the shedding of His blood and our acceptance of that sacrifice is our only hope. There is a special crown that awaits you for all that and that day is nearer than most realize. See you soon at the banquet table.

Grandma, I always had so much fun spending Saturday mornings at your house! From decorating Christmas cookies, making crafts, walks to the bridge to play in the creek, to playing Bingo and your special lunches of French fries and chicken nuggets with cheese on top you always went out of your way to make sure us grand kids were having a good time. Thank you for all of the fun sleepovers that you let us hold at your house with hot ovaltine in the morning and for letting us play dress up with your clothing! You were a sweet and caring person who always went out of there way to help others out! I love you Grandma and will never forget our fun times together!

Dear Betty, you helped me several times during our working time together. We lit many candles for our beloved residents when they went home to be with our lord. This one is for you. rest n peace.

Betty loved Jesus! She showed it! She displayed a kind heart and she had this great love,to not only her family members, but to others who weren't. She brought others in and loved on them. You were one special person in my life growing up,always comforting and so much love. I didn't view you as my sister-in-law,but you were my sister to me. I miss you terribly and i love you always.
