Arthur D. Frankfort, 79, of Mohnton, passed away on Friday, April 15, 2016, at Hospice and Community Care, Mount Joy.

He was born in Hopeland to the late Clarence and Sadie (Nessinger) Frankfort and was the husband of Phyllis (Hertzog) Frankfort.

Arthur served in the US Navy, loved hunting, fishing, NASCAR racing and was an avid Eagles fan. He work in the maintenance department at Dorma Door Corp for 15 years until his retirement.

In addition to his wife, Arthur is survived by son, Jeffrey A. Frankfort of Schaefferstown; 3 daughters, Audrey L., wife of Ernest L. Batz, Jr. of Mohnton, Kimberly S., wife of Joseph A. Schneider of Lancaster, Ann M. Koch, fiance of Douglas Chalmers of Bechtelsville; 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; sister, Helen Martzall of Ephrata.

He was preceded in death by step brother, Eugene Nessinger; 3 brothers, Paul Charles Frankfort, Sr., Clarence Frankfort, Clayton Frankfort; sister, Anna Grace.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2016, starting at 1 pm until 5 pm (drop by), at the private residence of his grandson, 10 Hilltop Dr., Ephrata, PA 17522. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
