Condolences

Condolence From: Friedhelm Berg
Condolence: The Riverside Gospel Singers from Eberbach/Germany visit Ephrata in June 2003 for one week. Bob was our tour guide and organizer during this wonderful week. He was a friend and a promoter of the friendship between Ephrata and Eberbach. We have lost this good friend and we will miss him. My deepest sympathies to his family.

Condolence From: Jason Hibner
Condolence: I wanted to write a short note and let you know how Bob touched my life. He was a kind and friendly face when I joined the SCI Board as the Youth member when he was still serving as the State Coordinator Representative on the board. We spent many conversations talking about life, Sister Cities, travel, family and friends. In many ways, he reminded me of my late grandfather and for that I will always be grateful. i wanted to send a card but I couldn't find your address. My sincere condolences on the loss of a great man and a great spirit. I will miss him greatly.

Condolence From: Elke Polzin
Condolence: We have lost a friend and will miss Bob when we are in Ephrata. He was always around and helped wherever he could. It is almost impossible to imagine groups of visitors from Ephrata coming to "his" sister city Eberbach without Bob as the tour guide.
I am sending my deepest sympathy to Sarah and her family, Elke Polzin.

Condolence: I am so sorry for your loss. Bob was a great man. He was very kind and generous. He tried to help me with a personal matter at a job and I appreciated the help that he gave to me. He always had a smile on his face and was very giving. I always spoke with him at the fair and any time that I would see him out. I will miss him.

Condolence From: Glenn Gray
Condolence: Mrs. Bensing:
My thoughts are with you and your family for your great loss. I will remember Bob for his positive attitude, his generosity and his volunteer work. I have worked with Bob for many years as volunteers with Sister Cities International. He was always willing to help out, and added something to every conversation. His interest in photography has left a legacy for us as we remember conference and meetings that he documented. I am especially glad that I had the opportunity to visit China with Bob last year. Again, my thoughts are with you. Bob was a great man, and we will miss him.
