Thomas J. "Tom" Halligan, 59, of Ephrata, passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2020, at WellSpan Ephrata Community Hospital.

He was born in Ephrata to the late Warren and Naomi (Becker) Halligan and was the husband of Frances A. (Anderson) Halligan with whom he shared 26 years of marriage.

Tom was an owner of Halligan's Auto Repair in Ephrata. He was an avid sprint car racing fan and very involved in the racing world for his entire life.

In addition to his wife, Tom is survived by a son, Jeff Halligan of Ephrata; two brothers, Rick Halligan, companion of Sue Nolan, Roger, husband of Donna Halligan; a sister, Jodi, wife of Steve Britton and his beloved dog, Daisy.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jeffrey Halligan.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 5, 2020, from 5:30 to 7:30 PM at Stradling Funeral Home, 30 N. 9th Street, Akron, followed by a memorial service at 7:30 PM. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
