Judith Anne Miles, 69, of Ephrata, entered into rest at Ephrata Community Hospital on Wednesday evening, November 5, 2008.

She was born in Ephrata, a daughter of the late Harry S. and Marguerite Mae Heintzelman Gerhart.

She was manager of a Pensupreme Store from 1983 to 1993 and then worked at the former I. G. Sprecher's and Sons of Ephrata from 1994 to 2004. She was also a volunteer for the Alzheimer's Assn. and an avid Phillies fan.

Surviving are her loving companion of 24 years, Frances Marie Nelson, her children, Lisa Michelle Miles-Mccoy, wife of McCoy of San Diego, CA, Lori Ann, wife of Fabio Pini, Charles Gerhart Miles, and James Charles Miles, all of Lititz, 17 grandchildren, 1 great grandson and her brother and sisters, H. Gerald, husband of Grace Crills Gerhart of Ephrata, Janice, husband of Bruce Brossman of Lititz, and Joan, wife of Tommy Wealand of New Holland.

A viewing will be held from 1 to 2 P.M. on Saturday, November 8th followed by the funeral
at 2 P.M. on Saturday, November 8, 2008 at the Stradling Funeral Home, 201 Church Ave., Ephrata, with Rev. Deborah Coggin officiating. Interment will follow in the Cedar Hill Cemetery, Ephrata.

The family requests memorial contributions in Judith's memory be sent to Vision of Hope, MCC, 130 E. Main St., Mountville, PA 17554. Arrangements by Stradling Funeral Homes, Akron/Ephrata.
