Condolence: Throughout the 1950s and early 60s Jane was my second mother in the neighborhood where I grew up at. Everone on South State Street knew Jane as she shared her compassion and motherly love to all of us kids in the neighborhood. At time I didn't need it nor understood why she was like that. Probably didn't care at those moments when she would put her arm around me and tell me that I did something wrong or wasn't nice. As a Father now I know very much how she cared and loved me not only as a friend of her own children but as one who needed that in my youth. I already miss the phone calls we shared monthly from Tampa to Lancaster. I miss the memories we re-shared during those calls. I feel very lucky that I had one final opportunity to visit with her last October while visiting Ephrata. I am sad with her loss but know she is now with her beloved Bob...Jane, you are missed and loved by me and my family who years ago had the opportunity to meet you. Smile my dear friend and second mother.Bobby, JoEllen and Jay you are in the prayers of Aida and me.

Condolence: Aunt Jane was like a mother to me when I came to Lancaster. She was fun to be around. She was a nice Lady and I will miss going out to eat with her. I will miss her stories. To me she will always be Winnie.
