Eugene Trupe Gehman, 89, of Lebanon, formerly of Robesonia, passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2017, at Cedar Haven Healthcare Center.

He was born in Denver to the late Wayne H. and Mamie (Trupe) Gehman.

Eugene attended Denver High School. In his younger years he attended the Denver Bible Church. He worked in construction, and enjoyed gardening and raising chickens.

A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served during the Korean Conflict.

Eugene is survived by 3 children, Dale Gehman of Dauberville, Dean Gehman of Robesonia, and Dolores, wife of Michael Gobright of Brandon, Mississippi; 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 3 siblings, Anna (Gehman) Wivell of Denver, Mamie E. Gehman of Landis Homes, Lititz, Daniel T. Gehman; also many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by first born infant brother, and 2 other brothers,Wayne Gehman, and Clayton T. Gehman.

Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.
