Elizabeth M. Hornberger, 89, of Waldo, OH, passed away on Wednesday, November 16, 2016, at Willowbrook Christian Village, Delaware, Ohio.

She was born in Mohnton to the late Wayne and Mary (Seifrit) Messner and was the wife of the late Raymond Hornberger who passed away in 1999.

She was a member of the Lakeholm Church of the Nazarene in Mount Vernon, Ohio. She enjoyed playing cards and board games with family and friends.

Elizabeth is survived by 4 children, Larry (Linda) Hornberger, Kenneth (Ruth Ann) Hornberger, Sally Wetzel, and Judy Yake; 8 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, John Messner, and Jimmy (Susie) Messner; and a sister, Molly Althouse.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Molly Hornberger McKenzie, 2 brothers, Sam and Jacob Messner.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2016, from 10 to 11 am at the Roseboro Stradling Funeral Home, 533 Walnut Street, Denver. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 am. Interment will take place in the Hahnstown United Zion Cemetery.
