Martha W. Groff, 102, of Ephrata, passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2016, at her nephews residence.

She was born in Earl Township to the late Daniel and Susanna M. Hoover and was the wife of the late Noah R. Groff who passed away in 1996.

She was a member of Conestoga Mennonite Church (Groffdale Conference).

Martha was a homemaker.

Martha is survived by a brother, Ivan W., husband of Lydia Hoover of Kentucky; 2 sisters, Alta W. Rhodes of Ephrata, Anna W. Hoover of New Holland; a brother-in-law, Reuben N. Zimmerman of Denver; a sister-in-law, Lizzie Hoover of Kentucky and numerous nephews and nieces.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by 9 brothers and 4 sisters.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, September 13, 2016, from 5 to 8 PM, at the residence of Ivan Hoover, 121 N. Farmerviille Road, Ephrata. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 14, 2016, at 8:45 AM, at the Ivan Hoover residence, with further services from Groffdale Mennonite Church (Groffdale Conference), Leola, at 9:30 AM, with Bishop Ammon Weaver officiating. Interment will take place in the adjoining church cemetery.
