Obituary for Titus M. Riegner

Titus M.  Riegner
Titus M. "Tidy" Riegner, 85, of Ephrata, passed away on Tuesday, June 7, 2016, at Ephrata Community Hospital.

He was born in Clayton to the late Wesley and Emma (Moyer) Riegner and was the husband of Roma R. (Paul) Riegner with whom he shared 45 years of marriage.

Titus was a member of St. John's U.C.C. in Denver. He was a truck driver for more than 40 years and was a member of Kokaliko RC flying club in Blainsport. He enjoyed woodworking, remote control airplanes, word search puzzles and music, of which he played the accordion and the organ.

In addition to his wife, Titus is survived by 2 sons, Robert C., husband of Robin (Koons) Riegner and Ronald J., husband of Duane (Fronheiser) Riegner, both of Bechtelsville; a daughter, Joan, wife of Doctor Jeff Dekret of Pottstown; 5 grandchildren, Kevin W. Bachman of Mohnton, Stefanie Bachman of Philadelphia, Lindsey B., Troy R. and Corbin Riegner all of Bechtelsville; 2 great-grandchildren, Julia C. and Sean G. Bachman of Bechtelsville and a sister, Mary M. Miller of Honeybrook.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brothers, Harris M., Joseph M. and Henry M. Riegner; a sister, Amanda Schultz and his twin sister, Naomi Schoenly.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2016, from 1 to 2 pm, at the St. John's U.C.C., 659 S. 4th Street, Denver, followed by a funeral service at 2 pm, with Rev. David R. Brumbaugh officiating. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
