Margaret M. Eberly, 94, of Mt. Airy, passed away on Saturday, August 15, 2015, at Ephrata Manor.

She was born Margaret Manko of Pittsburgh Pa., June 18, 1921 and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Bohovetsky) Manko and was the wife of the late Leroy B. Eberly with whom she had shared 55 years of marriage before his passing.

During WWII, she worked at Oliver Steel Company manufacturing ordnance. In 1945 she met and married Leroy B. Eberly who was stationed as a military policeman on the Pennsylvania Railroad. The couple resided in Mt. Airy following the war. She was a homemaker who enjoyed crochet and needlework. Mrs Eberly was a member of the Durlach and Mt. Airy fire company ladies auxiliary and the Mt. Airy Union Sunday School.

She is survived by her son, Randall and his wife Noreen of Huntingtown MD; daughter-in-law, Pennie of Manheim and granddaughter, Nicole and her husband Bryan Sensenig of Ephrata.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by and her son, Dennis S. Eberly.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
