Obituary for Edward G. Jorgenson

Edward G.  Jorgenson
Edward G. Jorgenson, 74, of Brownstown, passed away on Friday, April 10, 2015, at Ephrata Community Hospital.

He was born in Quakertown to the late George and Caroline (Peckiconis) Jorgenson.

He was a lifetime member of the Ephrata Lodge B. P. O. Elks #1933. He loved fishing, working outdoors, and especially loved animals.

Edward was a Paratrooper in the Army from 1959 to 1962. He worked as a truck driver for many years.

Edward is survived by 3 daughters, Denise M. and husband Colin Starks of New Holland, Caroline Parr of North Carolina, Barbara and husband Scott Barnhart of Colorado; 11 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Richard G. and wife Cheryl Jorgenson of New Jersey.

He was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Frances Bokano and Theresa Jorgenson.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 17, 2015, at 10:30 am, at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, with Reverend Kerry Martin officiating.

Memorial contributions in Edward's memory may be made to the Lancaster County SPCA, 848 South Prince Street, Lancaster, PA 17603 or to the Lebanon VA Medical Center, 1700 South Lincoln Avenue, Lebanon, PA 17042.
