Obituary for Patricia Eshelman

Patricia Eshelman, 82, of Denver area, passed away on Saturday, April 5, 2014, at Ephrata Manor.

She was born in Sinking Spring to the late Roy and Katie (Stricker) Daub and was the wife of Harry A. Eshelman, with whom she shared 62 years of marriage.

Patricia was a member of Swamp Christian Fellowship Church, Reinholds, where she sang in the choir for many years, was a part of the Willing Workers and played piano in sunday school. She was a charter member of Reinholds Lioness Club. Patricia loved flower gardening, birds and had a soft heart for animals and anyone with special needs. Patricia retired from Galen''s of Ephrata after working there many years.

In addition to her husband, Patricia is survived by 2 daughters, Jolynn Miller of Wildwood, NJ, Julie, wife of Jeff Breon of Stevens; beloved Nanny of, Tara, wife of Tony Leister of Lancaster, Jessica, wife of Roger Hennesey of Green Creek, NJ, Kim Marie Breon, fiance of Dominic Mottillo of Elizabethtown, and Justin Miller of Wildwood, NJ; 4 great grandchildren, Joshua Romano, Sophia Leister, Evelyn Leister, and Brooklynn Miller; and a sister, Pauline Mateer of Ephrata.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, April 10, from 6 to 8 pm at the Roseboro Stradling Funeral Home, 533 Walnut Street, Denver. An additional viewing will be held on Friday from 10 to 11 am, at the funeral home, followed by funeral services held at 11 am, with Pastor Craig Snow officiating. Interment will take place in the Pleasant View Cemetery.
