Mary Ann Messina, 92, formerly of Long Island, NY, passed away on Saturday, July 6, 2013, at Ephrata Manor.

She was born in Brooklyn to the late Ralph and Margaret Vicchione and was the wife of the late Jasper Messina.

Mary was a member of Our Mother of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. She was a waitress at Cookies Steak Pub, Long Island, NY, for 30 years before her retirement.

Mary is survived by 3 sons, Paul, husband of Anita Messina of NY, Ralph Messina of FL, Gregory, husband of Philomena Messina of OH; 1 daughter, Mary Ellen, wife of Mark Olszewski of Ephrata; 11 grandchildren, Susan, Paul, Joanne, Anthony, Michael, John and Paul Messina, Christopher Incorvaia, Kimberly Jenness and Matthew Olszewski, Matthew Billib; 21 great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, John Michael Messina.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, July 10, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM, at Moloney's Holbrook Funeral Home, 825 Main St., Holbrook, NY 11741. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, July 11, at 9:45 AM, at the Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Church, 1370 Grundy Ave., Holbrook, NY 11741. Final Commendation and Farewell will take place in the Pinelawn Memorial Park, Farmingdale, NY.
