Obituary for Richard L. Oehme

Richard L.  Oehme
Richard "Dick" L. Oehme, 67, of Lititz, left his earthly home and entered the peaceful arms of his Heavenly Father on Monday, October 30, 2017.

He was born in Lancaster to the late J. Herbert and Adriana (Baldiserri) Oehme and was the husband of Cathleen A. (Zimmerman) Oehme with whom he shared 40 years of marriage.

He was a member of Grace Church, Lititz.

Dick was an assistant production manager for Oehme Bakery before retiring in 1999. He graduated from Warwick High School, class of 1968 and Millersville University. He enjoyed volunteering for Associates for Biblical Research and went to Israel on many archeological digs. He loved the game of golf and also spending time with his grandchildren
In addition to his wife, Dick is survived by 4 children, Gregory R. Oehme of Philadelphia, Jennifer Oehme, wife of Chad Knepper of Lancaster, Jessica C. Oehme of Lancaster, Jerilyn C. Oehme of Lititz; 4 grandchildren, Luke, Liam, Levi and Vivienne; a brother, William, husband of Barbara Oehme of Lititz, and a sister, Anne Swan of Key West, FL.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 12, 2017, at 3PM followed by a visitation at the Grace Church, 501 W. Lincoln Ave, Lititz, with Pastor William Willard officiating. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.

Memorial contributions in Dick's memory may be made to Associates for Biblical Research, 650 Main Street, Akron, PA 17501 and we invite you to come to Gifts That Give Hope on December 9, 2017 10AM to 4PM at the Farm and Home Center.
