Obituary for Ana E. Stanke

Ana E.  Stanke
Ana E. Stanke, 31, of Ephrata, passed away on Monday, October 16, 2017, after courageously battling injuries sustained in a September 7th car accident.

She was born in Lancaster to Joseph G. Stanke, III, husband of Bonnie (Houtz) Stanke of Brickerville and Julie Wilson of Staunton, VA.

Ana worked for McDonalds in Lancaster and Lebanon counties. She was a loving mother who enjoyed spending quality time with her 2 children, playing with her dog Nova, working in the yard, camping, watching movies and going to the beach, especially Daytona Beach. She also loved horseback riding and had a strong passion to help neglected animals.

In addition to her parents, Ana is survived by a son, Elijah Frank Lee Stanke; daughter, Esther Lynn Stanke; 4 grandparents, Stella J. Houtz of Lititz, Shirley A. Spleen of Lititz, Joseph and Judy Stanke of Austin, TX; a brother, Joseph G. Stanke IV of Austin, TX and a sister, Christina Wilson of Lancaster.

A viewing will be held on Sunday, October 22, 2017, from 6 to 8 PM, at the First United Methodist Church, 68 N. Church Street, Ephrata. An additional viewing will be held on Monday, October 23, 2017 from 10 to 11 AM, at the church followed by a Life Celebration service at 11AM, with Pastor Walter Carter officiating. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
