Donald H. Youndt, 89, of Fivepointville, passed away on Wednesday, April 12, 2017, at Fairmount Homes Inc., Ephrata.

He was born in Fivepointville, the youngest child, to the late Charles B . and Jennie (Hornberger) Youndt and was the husband of Nancy J. (Reider) Youndt, with whom he shared 70 years of marriage.

He was a member of St. John's UCC, Howell Lodge #405 FandAM in Honey Brook, Lodge of Perfection of Lancaster, Rajah Shrine Temple of Reading, Scottish Rite Consistory of Reading

Donald worked as a butcher for his family owned business.

In addition to his wife, Donald is survived by 2 sons, Charles "Bob" Youndt and wife, Betsy of Brownstown, and Craig Youndt and partner Joan Kelly of Surf City, NC; 3 grandchildren, Brook and husband Alex Necker, Brody Youndt and wife Kristen, and Blake Youndt; and 4 great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Brett Youndt, 4 sisters and 4 brothers.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, April 18, 2017, from 1 to 2 pm at the Wheatridge Chapel at Fairmount Homes, 333 Wheat Ridge Dr., Ephrata. Funeral services will be follow at 2:00 pm, with Pastor Bradley Haws officiating. Interment will private at the convenience of the family.
