Obituary for Richard R. Winter

Richard R.  Winter
Richard R. Winter, 89, of Reinholds, passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2017, at Hospice and Community Care, Mount Joy.

He was born in Reinholds to the late Raymond and Ada (Hershey) Winter and was the husband of the late Maria (Urhmann) Winter.

He was a member of the Reinholds Station Trinity Chapel, Swamp Evangelical Lutheran Church, and Reinholds V.F.W. Post #6759. He served his country in the United States Army during WWII, stationed in Italy.

Richard worked for 37 years as a technician for RCA in Camden, NJ, with a special assignment in Cuba. He retired in 1987.

Richard is survived by his companion of 17 years, Edith Snyder of Reinholds.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his twin sister Betty Jane Cardinale.

A visitation will be held on Monday, January 16, 2017, from 6 to 8 pm, at the Roseboro Stradling Funeral Home, 533 Walnut St., Denver. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. Military Honors will be accorded by the Red Rose Honor Guard.
