Brian L. Stokes, 54, of Akron, passed away on Tuesday, October 11, 2016, at his residence.

He was born in Ephrata to Patricia A. (Stokes) Kreitz and was the husband of Sandra J. (Heiser) Stokes with whom he shared 21 years of marriage.

Brian was a self employed construction worker. He collected Yuengling and MandM memorabilia. He loved his Harley and hunting for morel mushrooms in the spring.

In addition to his mother and wife, he is survived by a son, William T. Stokes; a step son, Christopher L. Heiser; a step daughter, Melissa L. Leisey; 2 grandchildren, Alexis C. Mastel, Alyden H. Hora; 2 sisters, Tammy L. Bomberger, Lisa L. Kashner-Strauss and a brother, Darryl L. Kreitz.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
