Obituary for Kathleen C. (Reiver) Savage

Kathleen C. (Reiver) Savage, 69, of Reinholds, passed away on Friday, October 7, 2016, at Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedarcrest, Allentown.

She was born in Reading to Arlene F. (Wishneski) Reiver and the late Vernon L. Reiver, Sr. and was the wife of Thomas C. Savage, with whom she shared 41 years of marriage.

In addition to her husband and mother, Kathleen is survived by 4 sisters Judith, wife of Michael Soondar of Jonestown, Claudia A. Tallent of York, Maureen Ferretti of Leesport, and Maryann Reiver of Wernersville; 3 brothers, Charles A. Reiver of Robesonia, Timothy A., husband of Vickie Reiver of Wernersville, and Vernon Reiver, Jr of Robesonia; 8 nieces, Stephanie, Rebecca, Angela, Amy, Kimberly, Olivia, Hollyann, and Ashley; 6 nephews Michael, Bernie Jr., Mickey, Jimmy, Zachary, and Alex; several grandnieces and nephews.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a nephew, Christopher A. Reiver.

Kathleen was a member of Our Mother of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Ephrata. She will be remembered for her love of family, the beach, her good cooking and baking, and her beloved dogs.

A Mass of Christian Burial celebration will be held on Thursday, October 13, 2016, at 11:00 am at Our Mother of Perpetual Help, 320 Church Avenue, Ephrata, PA 17522, with Fr. Thomas Siconolfi as celebrant. Final commendation and farewell will be held at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Ephrata.

Memorial contributions in Kathleen's memory may be made to Our Mother of Perpetual Help's Benevolent Fund at the above address.
