Irene M. Lutz, 83, of Ephrata, passed away on Friday, September 16, 2016, at Moravian Manor.

She was born in Reinholds to the late William and Annie (Johnson) Keith and was the wife of the late Frederick W. Lutz with whom she shared 63 years of marriage.

Irene was a member of the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. During her working years, she was a manager at J.C. Penney and Isaac's. She was a member of the Ephrata Women's, past Matron Chapter #406 the Order of the Eastern Star.

Irene is survived by 3 nieces and a nephew.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, Leon Keith.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 from 1 to 2 pm, at the Stradling Funeral Home, 201 Church Avenue, Ephrata, followed by funeral services at 2 pm, with Donna Nace officiating. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
