Vera Babich, 79, of Denver, passed away on Thursday, September 15, 2016, at Wellspan Ephrata Community Hospital

She was born in Kazakhstan to the late Gregory and Anna Luchkin and was the wife of Victor Babich with whom she shared 56 years of marriage.

Vera was a nurse.

In addition to her husband, Vera is survived by 6 sons, Pavel Babich, Timofey Babich, Aleksey Babich, Peter Babich, Alex Babich, Andrew Babich; 3 daughters, Galina Maltsev, Lyubov Panilov, Noudezhda Zerebilov; 27 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son, Roman Babich.

A viewing will be held on Sunday, September 18, 2016, at 5 PM at the Bethany Slavic Church, 864 Dawn Avenue, Ephrata. Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 19, 2016, at 10 AM, at the church. Interment will take place in the Pleasant View Cemetery.
