Obituary for Glen L. Habecker

Glen L.  Habecker
Glen L. Habecker, 67, of Denver, passed away on Monday, September 12, 2016, at home.

He was born in Mt. Airy (Stevens) to the late William Walter and Elizabeth (Eberly) Habecker.

Glen was a U.S. Army Veteran, having served during the Viet Nam Era. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing, and spending time at his camp - the Red Cap Hunting Camp. He was an avid bowler for 40 years on Lancaster North End.

Glen worked for many years at Bollman Hat. He later worked for Conestoga Wood, where he retired from.

Glen is survived by 3 sons, Travis Habecker and wife Tammy Hynicker, Trever Habecker and wife Jamie, Jason Habecker and wife Danielle; 6 grandchildren, Gage, Trenton, Owen, Trey, Jeffery, and Jacob; 2 great-grandchildren, Myla and Jace and their mother Tori Laudermilch; 2 brothers, Gene and Bill.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Dennis, and a sister, Evelyn Bender.

A viewing will be held on Friday, September 16, 2016, from 1 to 3 pm at the Roseboro Stradling Funeral Home, 533 Walnut Street, Denver, where funeral services will follow at 3:00 pm, with Pastor Leon Eberly officiating. Interment will take place in the Mellinger's Union Cemetery.
