Obituary for Isaac K. Lefever

Isaac K.  Lefever
Isaac K. Lefever, 89, of Stevens, passed away on Sunday, May 15, 2016, at his residence.

He was born in Manheim Township to the late Isaac H. and Anna H. (Kilheffer) Lefever and was the husband of Vera Mae (Mosley) Lefever.

Isaac was formerly a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, Denver. He served his country in the US Army during WWII. During his working years he was a feed salesman. He loved golfing and playing cards.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by 2 sons, Bill, husband of Patricia Lefever of Ephrata, Barry, husband of Esther Lefever of Indiana, : 2 step-sons, Robert Dyal of Kissimmee, FL, Gregory Dyal of St. Louis, MO; step-daughter, Leonette Lafleur of Akron; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Ruth Sauder, Erma Lefever and 2 brothers, Lloyd and Willis K. Lefever.

A viewing will take place on Thursday, May 19, from 6 to 8 pm, at the Stradling Funeral Home, 201 Church Ave., Ephrata. An additional viewing will be held on Friday, May 20, from 1 to 2 pm, at the funeral home, followed by his funeral service at 2 pm, with Pastor Mike Rooney officiating. Interment will take place in the Memory Gardens Memorial Cemetery with military honors accorded by the Red Rose Veterans Honor Guard.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Isaac's memory may be made to Alzheimer's Association, Greater PA Chapter, 2595 Interstate Dr., Suite 100, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
