I remember having cell group and youth group at your house. Playing with your kids, who were my age and my siblings' age. I think you had a ferret, if I remember right?
While I don't remember anything in particular that Ted said, I just remember thinking of him as a good dad. One who seemed to have clear structures so that his kids knew what they could and couldn't do,and we never got in trouble when we were playing at your house. And he was a 'present' dad, one who connected with his kids and who was around usually when we were at your house.
I'm glad for this opportunity to reminisce again about Ted and your family and how my life has been touched through you. I'm so thankful that my parents had good friends with good kids so I could grow up in a safe and joyful environment, knowing of God's goodness and abundant life!
Thinking of you!
