Mae E.  Carvell (Wright)
Mae E. Carvell, 100, of Akron, formerly of Ephrata and Fivepointeville, passed away on Thursday, November 5, 2015, at Maple Farms.

She was born in Duncannon to the late William and Ora (Fickenbinder) Wright and was the wife of the late Earl C. Carvell who died in 1981.

She was a member of Reamstown Church of God.

Mae was a housewife.

Mae is survived by a son, Paul W. Carvell of Ephrata, daughter, Alverta M., wife of Clair L. Brendle of Ephrata; 5 grandchildren, Timothy, Michael, Dwayne, Sharon, and Kevin; 3 great grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and a sister Alverta M. Dorman of Marysville.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Harry, Charles, and Robert Wright.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 10, 2015, from 1:30 to 2:00 pm at the Roseboro Stradling Funeral Home, 533 Walnut Street, Denver. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 pm, with Pastors Arthur T. Karick and Joel Hainley officiating. Interment will take place in the Hopeland Cemetery.
