Condolence From: Lee Eckman
Condolence: My condolences to the family on your mothers passing. Fern is one of the kindest, sweetest people I have ever known. I am happy that I got to visit with her on my visit with Drew and Joyce last summer. I really enjoyed her giving me the tour of her paintings in the hall, and her enjoyment telling me about her travels. My thoughts and prayers are with you ant this troubling time.

Condolence: I have fond memories of Fern from our two years as neighbors at the Newport Commons apartments. Fern was a kind, loving person who was a good friend, always ready with a cheerful greeting and to share her beautiful artwork. I will miss her. My condolences to her daughter Lisa and the rest of the family.

Condolence: Fern was such a classy lady. I met Fern on bicycle rides. We spent 6 weeks in a small group in Europe and another 4 weeks going around Lake Superior, and other rides. She always had so much energy and was always "up". Fern made every trip enjoyable. She also shared some of her water color paintings with me. She was just so accomplished. I will miss her for now, but look forward to our reunion in heaven.

I spoke with Ann Chason and she wanted me to pass on her condolences and prayers. Ann is the late Aubrey Chason's wife. Chase and Fern got along so very well. I'm sure they are already swapping stories.

Condolence: Fern led such a blessed and beautiful life. We only knew Fern a short time, but she welcomed us into her life and treated us like family.

She pursued life more than many we've known and she saw and experienced more in her travels than most could do in two lifetimes.

We pray that her children will take comfort in knowing that we knew their mother to be a genuine and kind woman, and a woman who cared for others more than she did herself.

Condolence: Dear Lynn and family...
I am so sorry to hear of your mothers passing. It is never easy to lose a parent at any age. May peace be with you in knowing that she lived a full happy life and in knowing you have a Guardian Angel watching over you. May God hold you in his hands during this time....your all in my heart, thoughts and prayers.

Condolence: I had the pleasure to have met Fern at Drew and Joyce's home, from the time I was introduced I knew she was a gem, she showed me her portrait gallery, it was unbelievable what a beautiful and talented artist she was. I so enjoyed her tour through her paintings. Though I only saw her a few times when I was visiting my daughters and we went down to the lake I grew to have the utmost respect and admiration for her, the things she accomplished in her senior years is a tribute in itself of her life, her spunk, her love of adventure.

Fern I will miss you when I visit Drew and Joyce again.

You are now in God's Heavenly Home with all the loved ones that joined him and were waiting for your arrival.
