Betty Jane (Fulton) Herr, 73, of Ephrata, passed away on Tuesday, July 14, 2015, at Maple Farm Nursing Center.
She was born in Hershey to the late Joseph John and Dorothy Mildred (Etzweiler) Fulton and was the wife of the late Melvin R. Herr who passed away November 10, 2014.
Betty Jane was a member of Our Mother of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. She had been employed in the early years by Barry Maid Mills, Lebanon. She enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by 2 daughters, Brenda Steininger of Lancaster, Teresa, wife of Willie Sullivan of Taylorsville, MS; 6 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by 2 brothers, Donald and Robert (Bob) Fulton.
A viewing will be held on Friday, July 17, from 6:30 to 7:30 pm, at the Stradling Funeral Home, 30 N. 9th St., Akron, followed by a blessing service at 7:30 pm, with The Rev. Father John McLoughlin, C.SS.R. as celebrant. Final Commendation and Farewell will take place in the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
