Arthur D. Fairchild, 57, of Ephrata, passed away on Tuesday, July 14, 2015, at Ephrata Community Hospital after fighting a courageous battle with cancer.

He was born in Coatesville to the late Arthur W. and Mary J. (Lewis) Fairchild.

He was a member of the Reamstown Athletic Association. He was an avid fan of the Eagles, Phillies and NASCAR.

Arthur worked in the shipping department at Pepperidge Farm for almost 40 years.

Arthur is survived by a son, A.J. Fairchild, 2 daughters, Jaclyn, wife of Ron Bernardo, and Jessica, wife of Phillip Keener; a brother, Paul, husband of Brenda Fairchild, and his significant other, Tammy Hiester.

A visitation will be held on Friday, July 17, 2015, from 2 to 3 pm at the Roseboro Stradling Funeral Home, 533 Walnut Street, Denver. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 pm, with Pastor Keith Sweitzer officiating. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Arthur's memory to the Reamstown Athletic Association, 76 N. Reamstown Road, P.O. Box 306, Reamstown, PA 17567.
