Virginia "Dolly" H. Matt, 82, of Akron, passed away on Sunday, June 7, 2015, at Ephrata Community Hospital.

She was born in Millersburg to the late Paul and Dorothy (Schwalm) Bonawitz and was the wife of D. Gene Matt.

Dolly was a member of the Ephrata congregation of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, New Holland. She was retired from Warner-Lambert as a production worker.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son Randy Harman of Panama; a daughter, Judy Foltz of Lancaster; 3 grandchildren, Bridget Foltz, Melissa Arthur, Nathan Harman; a great-granddaughter, Alayna Harman; a step great grandson, Kyle Bailey; 6 siblings,
Elmer Bonawitz of Farmington, NM, Robert Bonawitz of Dornsife, Dale Bonawitz of Millersburg, Marie Fetteroff of Millersburg, Betty Fulkroad of Millersburg, Doris Glace of Dalmatia.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 3 brothers,Russell, William and Paul, Jr. Bonawitz.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 27 at 2 pm, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 921 Fruitville Pike, Lancaster.
