Mildred S.  Martin (Bauman)
Mildred S. Martin, 71, formerly of Ephrata, passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2015, at Moravian Manor, Lititz.

She was born in East Cocalico Township to the late Martin S. and Alice (Stauffer) Bauman and was the wife of the late Solomon R. Martin who passed away in 2012.

During her working years, she was a sales associate at the former Foster’s Flowers and Galen’s of Ephrata. Mildred loved gardening, flowers, birds and animal, fishing cooking and she especially enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Sheila R., wife of Michael Hoffmeier of Kirkwood, Christina Y. Martin of Manheim; 2 grandsons, Travis and Dalton Hoffmeier; 12 siblings, Mae S., wife of the late Harold Reich, Lila S., wife of Carl Zimmerman, Clarence S., husband of the late Blanche Bauman, Ray S., husband of Lydia Bauman, Earla S., wife of the late Mahlon H. Martin, Paul S., husband of Virginia Bauman, Nora S., wife of Donald Busser, Pauline S., wife of George R. Long, Arlene S., wife of Harvey Zimmerman, Joyce S., wife of the late Mahlon F. Good, Harold S., husband of Jeanette Bauman and Titus S., husband of Ruth Bauman.

In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by a sister, Kathryn Zimmerman.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, May 20, from 10 to 11 am, at the Stradling Funeral Home, 30 N. 9th St., Akron, followed by her funeral service at 11 am, with Pastor Jeffrey Martin officiating. Interment will take place in the Mt. Zion Evangelical Cemetery, Akron.
