Obituary for Holly E. Dobb (Cook)

Holly E.  Dobb (Cook)
Holly E Dobb, 71, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at her home in Brecknock Township, PA. She was born on March 25, 1944 in Fremont, MI, to the late Clifford and Georgie Cook.

Holly managed Cloister Sweets in Ephrata where she made many chocolate treats before retiring in 2012.

Holly married Phillip Dobb in 1962 in Muskegon, MI. They were happily married for 53 years. Holly served on the board of the Hawk Valley Condominium association for 10 years and was president from 2007 to 2014. She also sat on the Brecknock Township planning commission. She played an active role in her community. She enjoyed making all kinds of crafts. She loved southern gospel music.

Holly is survived by her loving spouse Phil; her daughters Kim Wilson (Greg) of Ephrata, Jodi Winfindale (Edward) of Hummelstown, Traci Kornfeld (Paul) of Mechanicsburg, and her son, Marc Dobb (Marie) of Womelsdorf, PA. Her sister, Dorothy Ann Grinwis of Grant, MI and brothers Bud and Skip Cook of; Muskegon MI. Holly was a proud and devoted grandmother of 21, grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Holly was an amazing person and lived an active life surrounded by many friends and her large, loving family. She will be greatly missed.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at Foxchase Golf Club Banquet Room, 300 Stevens Rd., Stevens PA, on Friday, May 8, 2015, at 11 am, with Gerald McDowell of LCBC, officiating. Family and friends will be greeted beginning at 10:30 am. A light lunch will follow the service.
