Obituary for Gloria Boll

Gloria  Boll
Gloria Jean (Redcay) Boll, 66, of Ephrata, passed away on Monday, April 6, 2015, at Hospice and Community Care, Mount Joy, after a lengthy illness.

She was born and raised in the Farmersville area, the daughter of the late Allen and Anna Mae (Zoll) Redcay and was the wife of Ray E. Boll, with whom she shared 45 years of marriage. After their marriage, Ray and Gloria moved to Hessdale, PA where they lived for 20 years while raising their family.

Gloria was an active member of Refton Brethren in Christ Church before returning to the Farmersville area where she worshipped at Grace Fellowship Church, Ephrata. She was a devoted wife and mother who enjoyed doing crafts, scrapbooking and flower gardening. She was employed by Upjohn as a nurse aide, Hershey Farms and Shady Maple as a gift shop attendant and owner of Ye Ole Trolley House Gifts and Crafts prior to her illness. She was last employed as a taxi driver for the Amish.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by 2 daughters, Teresa, wife of Matthew Janelli of Denver, Dianne, wife of David Johnson of Stafford, VA, a son, Greg Boll, husband of Dr. Elizabeth O''Connor-Boll of Lancaster; 8 grandchildren; 2 brothers, Alvin, husband of Sandy Redcay of Mohnton and Marlin, husband of Shirley Redcay of Ephrata.

A viewing will be held on Friday, April 10, from 6 to 8 pm, at the Grace Fellowship Church, 822 Pointview Dr., Ephrata. An additional viewing will be held on Saturday, April 11, from 9 to 10 am, at the church, followed by her funeral service at 10 am, with Pastor Frank Rice officiating. Interment will take place in the Groffdale Mennonite Cemetery, Leola.
