One of my favorites classes at Centre College was the Music Appreciation class taught by Dr. Weaver. I have so many fun (and odd) memories from the class - the bus trip to the opera, the music workbook with the turkey-baster-like baton on the cover, the class of lemmings who squeezed into chairs piled into the corner by the cleaning people, and "the Nod". "Rondo" became a common vocabulary word from that class and many a friend became "Dona". Dr. Weaver was so kind, caring, patient, and classy through it all. I am sad to hear of his passing.
