I remember him & Charmaine having fun with us when they had Lamplighters over for fun nights & the nights he must have wished all those noisey girls would be quiet in the basement! When my then husband and I decided to build a house in Reamstown, a co-worker, who had worked with Ivan when she and her husband built their house, immediately suggested Ivan/Garman Builders. I am so glad she did. Ivan embodied integrity and customer focus and made sure that the sub-contractors he used did as well. He clearly instilled his values in his sons as they, too, could not have been more polite and throughtful. With so many horror stories of people working with builders, I realize how rare these qualities can be. My sincere sympathy and prayers go out to Ivan's family. Take comfort in knowing that Ivan made a positive impact on those he encountered along his life journey.
