Obituary for Linda Lou (Hoshauer) Osborne

Linda Lou (Hoshauer)  Osborne
Linda Lou (Hoshauer) Osborne, 64, of Stevens, passed away on Wednesday, January 14, 2015, at Ephrata Community Hospital.

She was born in Ephrata to Shirley (Miller) Lefever and the late Howard Hoshauer, and was the wife of Terry S. Osborne, whom she married on December 4, 1968.

Linda was a member of St. John's UCC in Denver. She was a 1968 graduate of Cocalico H.S. She enjoyed bingo, yard sales, crafts, and especially family gatherings and picnics. Linda also enjoyed raising and taking care of her dogs throughout her lifetime.

Linda worked as a driver for Boyo Transportation until her retirement in 2013. She formerly drove for Rock Transportation.

In addition to her husband, Linda is survived by her mother, Shirley (Miller) Lefever of Stevens; 2 daughters, Danialyn K. and Debbie Lynn Osborne, both at home; 4 brothers, Terry Lefever of Stevens, Roy (Lori) Lefever of Denver, John Lefever of Myerstown, and Allen Lefever of Denver; and a sister, Debra Lefever Druckenmiller of Denver.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a sister, Dianne Clark, and step-father, John Lefever.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2015, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at the Roseboro Stradling Funeral Home, 533 Walnut Street, Denver, where funeral services will follow at 10:00 am, with Pastor Jeffrey Martin officiating. Interment will take place in the Denver Union Cemetery.

Memorial contributions in Linda's memory may be made to the Humane League of Lancaster County, 2195 Lincoln Highway East, Lancaster, PA 17602.
