Obituary for Joseph L. Nash

Joseph L. Nash, 69, of Ephrata, passed away on Monday, December 1, 2014, at Davita Dialysis Center, Elizabethtown.

He was born in Dyersburg, TN to the late Malcom and Alta (Malone) Nash and was the husband of Cheryl A. (Moxley) Nash.

Joseph was a member of Our Mother of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Ephrata. He was in sales and installation of operable walls and automatic doors. He served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War. Joseph was a member of Knights of Columbus, Sons of Confederate Veterans, was an avid studier of the Civil War, enjoyed fixing computers, horses and horseback riding, golfing and loved tractors.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Joe S., husband of Cara Nash of Sinking Spring; a daughter, Melissa N., wife of Jason S. Mertz of Elizabethtown; 5 grandchildren, Hunter, Carson, Bryce, Ryder and Hailey; a brother, Harold Nash of Newburn, TN and a sister, Jane, wife of Bill Newsome of Newburn, TN.


A visitation will take place on Sunday, December 7, from 5 to 7 p.m., at the Stradling Funeral Home, 201 Church Ave., Ephrata
