Obituary for Clarence H. Weaver

Clarence H. Weaver (Buffy), 85, of Ephrata, PA, went home to be with the Lord on November 20, at Hospice and Community Care, Mt. Joy.

Clarence was born on August 4, 1929 to the late Harry H. and Ada (Hoover) Weaver in West Earl Township. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Arlene (Martin) Weaver. He was an active member of Martindale Mennonite Church. In his retirement years he was employed at Royer’s Pharmacy, Ephrata. He was a truck driver for many years at Martin Limestone, and Burkholder Paving. He also was a part-time farmer. He enjoyed gardening, traveling and spending time with his family.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three daughters and two sons. Shirley, wife of Sam Trupe, East Earl, PA, Roger, husband of Jolene (Miller) Weaver, Denver, PA, Nancy, wife of Clair Sensenig, Ephrata, PA, Dennis, husband of Amy (Redcay) Weaver, Ephrata, PA, Glenda, wife of Jim Evans, Lititz, PA. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren and six great grandchildren, one brother Abram Weaver, husband of Betty, Ephrata, PA, and two sisters, Anna Mary, wife of the late Eli Nolt, Ephrata, PA, and Ruth, wife of Clarence Martin, Stevens, PA.

A viewing will take place on Tuesday, November 25, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm, at the Martindale Mennonite Church, 171 Hurst Rd., Ephrata. An additional viewing will take place on Wednesday, November 26, from 9 to 10 am, at the church, followed by his funeral service at 10 am. Interment will take place in the adjoining church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Hospice and Community Care, 685 Good Drive, Lancaster, or Fairmount Homes, 333 Wheat Ridge Drive, Ephrata.
