Obituary for Barbara A. Schoenberger

Barbara A. Schoenberger
Barbara A. Schoenberger, 71, of Ephrata, passed away on Monday, November 17, 2014, at the Ephrata Community Hospital.

She was born in Lancaster to the late J. Donald and Julia (Haines) Bear and was the wife of the late Eugene E. Schoenberger who passed away in 2007.

Barbara was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Ephrata. She had worked at Pizza Hut for 18 years. She was a Neil Diamond fan, loved the beach and animals.

She is survived by 4 daughters, Audrey Baker of Ephrata, Donna, wife of Leonard Hollinger of Ephrata, Debra, wife of Ronlad Shank of Akron, Julie J. Schoenberger of Ephrata; a step-son, Thomas Karol of Denver; 15 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

A viewing will be held on Friday, November 21, from 9 to 10 am, at the Stradling Funeral Home, 201 Church Ave., Ephrata, followed by her funeral service at 10 am. Interment will take place in the Bergstrasse Lutheran Cemetery.

Memorial contributions in Barbara's memory may be made to the Humane League of Lancaster County, 2195 Lincoln Highway East, Lancaster, PA 17602
