Obituary for Mary Jane Good (Hess)
Mary Jane Good, 77, of Leola, passed away on Thursday, November 13, 2014, at Hospice and Community Care, Mount Joy.
She was born in Lancaster to the late Harry J., Sr. and Mary E. (Steely) Hess and was the wife of the late Marlyn H. Good.
Mary Jane was a member of the Lititz United Methodist. She loved square dancing and was a member of the Swing Thru Square Dance Club of Lititz. She enjoyed camping, traveling and going to the beach.
She is survived by a daughter, Denise, wife of Jerry Reifsnyder of Lititz; 3 grandchildren, Terri Reifsnyder of Lititz, Keith, husband of Kristin Reifsnyder of Lititz, Kelly Reifsnyder of Philadelphia; a great-grandson, Trevor Reifsnyder of Lititz; a brother, Harry J. Hess, Jr. of Willow Street; her twin sister, Anna Mae McCardell of Leola, 3 sisters, Peg Gochenauer of Lancaster, Joyce Yost of Willow Street, Carol Stoe of Leola and numerous nieces and nephews.
A viewing will be held on Tuesday, November 18, from 1 to 2 p.m., at the Lititz United Methodist Church, 201 East Market Street, Lititz, followed by her funeral service at 2 p.m., with Pastors Jerry Reifsnyder and Paul Miller officiating. Interment will take place in the Moravian Cemetery.
Memorial contributions in Mary Jane's memory may be made to Hospice and Community Care, P. O. Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604.
