Obituary for Barry Lynn Foltz

Barry Lynn  Foltz
Barry Lynn Foltz, 61, of Akron, passed away on Saturday, November 8, 2014, at his residence.

He was born in Ephrata to the late Rufus (Jack) and Marian (Parson) Foltz and was the husband of Susan (Adams) Foltz with whom he shared 18 years of a marriage.

Barry was of the Lutheran faith. He had worked as a moulder operator for Ephrata Manufacturing and most recently a cutter at CK Sportswear. He enjoyed all sports, especially football, was an avid Steelers fan, enjoyed fishing, gardening, fixing cars and spending time with his family, especially his grandson and nieces and nephews.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Barry Lynn Foltz, companion of Sarah Cline of Ephrata; 2 daughters, Brandie, wife of Allen Dean of Ephrata, Amy, wife of Mike Foltz of Myerstown; a grandson, Atticus Foltz; a brother, Terry, husband of Karen Foltz; 2 sisters, Jackie, wife of Ron Bowers of Ephrata and Karen Ulrich, companion of Darvin Weaver of New Holland.


A viewing will be held on Thursday, November 13, 2014, from 6 to 7:30 pm, at the Stradling Funeral Home, 201 Church Avenue, Ephrata, followed by his funeral service at 7:30 p.m. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
