Workcamps with Charlie

Charlie was my work camp partner on Junior and Senior High Work Camps. WE went on several work camps through Ephrata Church of the Brethren. Charlie was one of the most wonderful people that I ever have met and had the pleasure of serving in ministry with him. I will always remember his sweet bologna and cheese snacks. I remember the time Charlie was driving the 15 passenger church van and I fell asleep in the front seat(as I always did) and I woke up and I started braking in the passenger side, but I wasn't driving, Charlie was. He broke into hysterical laughter , and said what are you doing? I said I thought I was driving, Charlie said No, you were sleeping. Charlie was one of the most faithful servants that I have ever encountered in my life. Cindy
