Charles “Charlie” E. Sensenig, 83, of Reinholds, passed away on Sunday, August 10, 2014, at Fairmount Homes.
He was born in Ephrata to the late Elam and Florence (Artz) Sensenig and was the husband of Phyllis (Shortridge) Sensenig with whom he shared 48 years of marriage.
Charlie was a member of the Cornerstone Bible Church, Denver. He served his country in the US Marine Corps during the Korean War. He was the owner/operator of Special Delivery Service from 1975-1989. Charlie enjoyed working outdoors.
In addition to his wife, he will be greatly missed by his 2 daughters, Tammy, wife of Tony Witmer of Denver, Melissa Sensenig at home; 2 sisters, Elaine, wife of Arthur Sauder of Ephrata and Karen, wife of William Gerth of Akron.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday, August 13, 2014, from 12 to 1 pm, at the Cornerstone Bible Church, 529 Lauschtown Road, Denver, followed by his funeral service at 1 pm, with Pastor Jahn David Horgen officiating. Interment will take place in Memory Gardens Memorial Cemetery.
