Obituary for Geraldine Rose Haberman
Geraldine Rose Haberman, 86, of Ephrata, passed away on Saturday, April 5, 2014, at the Ephrata Community Hospital.
She was born in Ephrata to the late Carl and Priscilla (Houser) Kilhefner and was the wife of the late Eugene Weston Haberman who passed away in 1988.
Geraldine was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Ephrata, where she loved to sing in the choir. She had worked in the cafeteria at the Ephrata Middle School. Geraldine enjoyed reading and crossword puzzles and loved her family.
She is survived by a son, Chris Haberman, fiance of Peggy O'Hearn of Edgewater Park, NJ; a daughter, Amy, wife of John Wiegand of Ephrata; 4 grandchildren, Mychal, husband of Joanna Wiegand of Ephrata, Jared Haberman, Jennifer, wife of Timothy Bollinger of Stevens, Jonathan Haberman of Ephrata; a great grandson Landyn Wiegand and an aunt, Joan Nealis of Roswell, NM.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 12, 11 a.m., at the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 167 E. Main St., Ephrata, with Rev. Henry Herbener officiating. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
Memorial contributions in Geraldine's memory may be made to the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church 167 E. Main St. Ephrata, PA 17522 or Hospice and Community Care, P. O. Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604.
