Obituary for Marion Brendler

Marion Brendler, 86, of Ephrata, passed away on Thursday, March 27, 2014, at Hospice and Community Care, Mount Joy.

She was born in Green Village, NJ, to the late Alfred and Minnie (Weisgerber) Stiner and was the wife of the late Henry Brendler who passed away in 2009.

Marion was a member of the Hope United Methodist Church, Ephrata and a former member of the Methodist Church in Green Village, NJ, playing the organ at both churches and also at Ephrata Manor. She was an avid quilter and enjoyed gardening.

She is survived by 2 sons, Stephen H. Brendler of Westbury, NY, Ralph E., husband of Carol Brendler of Arlington Heights, IL; 2 daughters, Barbara A. Brendler of Denville, NJ, Susan M., wife of James Meyer of Evans, GA; 4 grandsons and 3 great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by a son, Richard Brendler; 3 brothers and 2 sisters.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Marion's memory may be made to the United Methodist Church in Green Village, 500 Spring Valley Rd., Green Village, NJ 07935.
