Obituary for Sharon M. Hurst

Sharon M.  Hurst
Sharon M. Hurst, 44, formerly of Lancaster, PA, died Friday, March 7, 2008, in Rosman, NC of natural causes. She was the daughter of Mel and Ruth (Kramer) Hurst of Ephrata, PA.

Sharon was a member of the Worship Center of Leola, PA. A former youth group leader at the Worship Center, she was vivacious and the life of the party. She played the piano and loved music and also loved to travel.

She had worked for Freidman Windshield Repairs in Reading, PA. Sharon also had a career in real estate in Lancaster and later in Phoenix, AZ. She was currenlty employed as an administrative assistant at The Buildersmith Construction Company in Sapphire, NC and also worked part time as a receptionist at the Greystone Inn on Taxaway Lake, NC.

Besides her parents, she is survived by a sister, Leslie, wife of Ben Bennett and their 5 children, Alexander 6, Sophia, 5, Nicholas 4, and twins Christopher and Anthony 2, all of whom she deeply loved. She had intense pride of her family and heritage.

The family will be receiving friends from 6 to 8 PM Sunday, March 16 at The Worship Center, 2384 New Holland Pike, Lancaster where a memorial service will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, March 17, 2008. Pastor Sam Smucker will be officiating. The family will receive friends following the memorial service.

The family requests memorial contributions in Sharon's memory be sent to Youth With A Mission Volunteer Fund, c/o The Worship Center, 2384 New Holland Pike, Lancaster, PA 17601.
