Obituary for Wilmer M. Weaver

Wilmer M. Weaver, 99, of Ephrata, passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2019, at Mt. Hope Nazarene Retirement Community in Manheim.

He was born in Murrell to the late Rueben B. and Lydia (Martin) Weaver.

He was a member of Grace Point Church of the Nazarene, Ephrata, and a lifetime member of Cobbs Hollow Hunting Club.

Wilmer was a U.S. Navy Veteran of WWII. He worked as a towmotor operator for New Holland Machine Co. for many years prior to his retirement

Wilmer is survived by a son, Ronald, husband of Elaine Weaver of Ephrata, a daughter, Shirley, wife of Kenneth Zell of Gretna Springs; 5 step-children, 9 grandchildren, several step-grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by first wife, Elizabeth F. (Zimmerman) Weaver, and second wife, Jane (Fisher) Weaver.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, April 10, 2019, from 1 to 2 pm at the Grace Point Church of the Nazarene, 110 Durlach Road, Ephrata, PA 17522. Funeral services will follow at 2 pm, with Pastor Rocky Hambrick officiating.

Interment will take place in the Memory Gardens Memorial Cemetery.

Memorial contributions in Wilmer's memory may be made to Grace Point Church of the Nazarene.
